In this Step by Step Tutorial video, we will be taking the Shabby Fabrics Accordion Pouch, and showing the hacks that I have done to it... And today we are adding all the bells and whistles that a clutch could need. I show you how to enlarge the size — making it into a small Accordion Clutch. I also show you have to install a Twist lock, I take you step by step through the process of make an anchor point for a wristlet, shoulder strap...we even show you how to make a double zip french seam pocket and Credit Card slots 12 of them... how to finish off with some double capped rivets. These are things that I have learned along the way in my bag making and purse making journey... The original pattern was not my design The pattern initially came from Shabby Fabrics here on YouTube... what I show in this video is Hacks that I have done to the pouch to give you a better finish, well I believe it gives you a better finish. Supplies Needed Exterior Fabric: 50cm (Half yard) Lining Fabric: 50cm (Half Yard) Fusible Fleece and Pellon SF10: 50cm (Half Yard)
Hardware Needed 4 - 10mm Double Cap Rivets 3 - 8mm Double Cap Rivets 3 - 12mm Swivel Lobster Clasps 2 - 12mm Flat - D-Rings 1 - Twist Lock
Cut List Use Template to cut the following: 1- Exterior 1 - Lining 1 - Fusible Fleece 1 - Pellon SF101 (or woven interfacing of your choice)
From remaining fabric cut the following:
Double Zip Pocket: Cut 2 Exterior Fabric - 7.5" x 9" Cut 2 Lining Fabric - 7.25" x 9" Cut 4 Pellon SF101 - 7.5" x 9"
Credit Card Slots: Cut 2 Lining Fabric - 7.5" x 15" Cut 2 Pellon SF101 - 7.5" x 15" Cut 1 Exterior Fabric - 7.5 x 10" ( this is not a typo)
Anchor Point: Cut 1 Exterior fabric - 1" x 8" Cut 1 Pellon SF101 - 1" x 8"
Wristlet: Cut 1 Exterior fabric - 2" x 15" Cut 1 Pellon SF101 - 2" x 15"
Shoulder strap: Cut 1 Exterior fabric - 2" x 50" ( this size suits 5'4"height add more if needed) Cut 1 Pellon SF101 - 2" x 50"
